I am currently working on a dataset acquired by a 3D laser scanner and approx. 142 manual oblique images taken with a 20MP Zenmuse X4S Camera mounted on an Inspire 2 drone. I have produced a geo-referenced model of a bridge with the drone dataset and obtained incredible results with such a small dataset.
Now, I am looking to add the pointcloud to the existing drone dataset. What would be the recommended format to export the pointcloud to? Currently, I've got the pointcloud data in a PTS format which is incompatible with ContextCapture from what I figured. Is there a workflow involved or is it as simple as importing the pointcloud and selecting the right Reference System and letting ContextCapture do its thing?
Never worked with Pointcloud data before and I'm trying to obtain a decent model of the sub structures of the bridge and pierheads. Any help would be highly appreciated.
I've attached a couple of snapshots of the model bar the Pointcloud at this stage.
