We are attempting to register our CC model to accurate GCPs that we have evenly spread through the model. In addition, we are utilizing PPK to improve the quality of the model in general. However we are seeing inaccuracies when querying the model and comparing back to the survey GCP of between .1-.5' (mostly in the vertical) after the model is complete. I want to confirm that we have the proper settings when running AT and that we aren't skewing the model by the settings we have selected.
Here is our workflow currently:
There are a ton of different combinations of options under the Setting tab for keeping, adjusting and computing various options. Can I get some clarity on these and when to use certain options? Specifically it would be nice to critique the above workflow. Thanks!
This is the tab that I am mostly referring to...
Need more details. How many photos? How large is the area? What is the flight plan? What camera is used? Please post some screenshot after aerotriangulation.
Regarding RTK/PPK there seems to be some unexplained issues regarding vertical mismatch even using precalibrated camera and accurate positions(ST7000882953). I have got different results using only RTK positions and using RTK and rotation - https://communities.bentley.com/products/3d_imaging_and_point_cloud_software/f/contextcapture-descartes-pointools-forum/158732/rtk-ppk-and-gcp/477087#477087.
If GCPs are surveyed using GNSS then I would recommend adding your local geoid as custom override vertical coordinate system - https://communities.bentley.com/products/3d_imaging_and_point_cloud_software/w/wiki/38929/how-to-add-a-geoid-model
