Hello! Our friend shot the entire city with the DJi Phantom 4 Pro and V2.0.He received 115,000 photos with overlapping 80% and 70%, oblique grid, 2308.9 GpxWhen he tried to submit AT in CCCenter with the entire data volume, he faced a error Failing during initialization (logs for support in attachments). They cant split data, because they didnt use GCPThe Project is saved in the HDD with a free memory 1,38TbPlease look at the zip and tell me what the error is
Thanks!Block_93 (merged block) - AT.zip

Hi Elena...sorry this is not an answer, in fact its a question for you...Can you tell me the area of the city you mapped with the phantom and how long does that took and the altitude of the flight?
Hi,
Flight altitude was different everywhere. The shooting of the city lasted 12 days. Area is 120 Sq km
You can't go with all of that into one block!! Try ty split pictures by area Selecting and deleting them in Block's 3D view. After block are generated seperately you can merge them into one.
Even if they didn't use GCPs they can split the data and later join using "fake" GCPs - https://communities.bentley.com/products/3d_imaging_and_point_cloud_software/w/wiki/26225/how-to-scale-a-model-without-initial-information
Also keep in mind that all non-RTK DJI drones doesn't have altitude in GPS data so it requires preprocessing to adjust the flight altitudes.
BTW which mission planner was used to do the flights? Can they export the photo positions(export block) so we can check the flight plan in 3D view?
Thank you, Oto. Fake GCP can help. They used the DJI GS Pro for flight. Unfortunately, they cant give us anydata, their company prohibits the transfer of information.
