Hi ,
Image a set of thousand of aerial imageries quite big tiffs, so how is the best procedure to make really great 3dmesh /3mx or 3sm
1. make many small meshes and somehow to merge to big one /CCeditor or something other?
2. from start to make only big one with all problems with memory and so on
3.any idea?
regards
Karol
How many Gpix photos you have?
Why should be memory issues if CC can process large models in Tiles. Forget about CCeditor it is just fancy name for Microstation without option to actually edit reality meshes.
Hi Oto,
I am speaking about 800MB per image , totally around 1TB,
that 's why I am looking for reliable procedure how to work with if one large or many smaller
e.g to make 100meshes of 1km x 1km so together 100kmsqr and then to add or join different meshes together according needs
karol
If you use GCP then it is possible to merge them later in one model in Contextcapture. See this - communities.bentley.com/.../how-to-merge-models-from-different-data-sources
thanks for advise , do you have some experience with so large mesh?
btw, first of all I need to try it, :-)
and next one , do you have any idea how to repair 3d mesh with quite big hole more then 200m wide river
I know and tried this procedure from wiki but it is not the best method indeed, any advise?
You will need to do a surface constraint to correct this. You can follow instructions shown in this link.
