ContextCapture_04.04.14.60after installing and running production cache is written to a "system disk" --> C:\Users\BentleyCC\AppData\Local\Temp\Bentley\ContextCapture Desktopwithin version 04.04.14.60 this cache files are so big that the disk is finally full ant the computer reboots
in case of older versions "ContextCapture_04.04.10.336" cache (in production) cache is written to the Project directory (--> F:\20191026_3RO_CESTA\01_PRJ\CESTA\Project files\Block_2\cache) which is OK! Currently we have to DOWNGRADE the CC since with ContextCapture_04.04.14.60 we can NOT process a single project! any ideas? trying for a week - no success!
To resolve this please try the following:
Change the TEMP and TMP default paths, these are environment variables which you can edit it before launching CC Engine.
We recommend that you create a small *.bat that will call the new path for the env. variable + CC Engine using the following content:
@echo off
Set TMP=D:\Test
SET TEMP=D:\Test
SET CC_CENTER=C:\Program Files\Bentley\ContextCapture Center
"%CC_CENTER%\bin\CCEngine.exe"
.
For ContextCapture Desktop Edition:
SET CC_Desktop=C:\Program Files\Bentley\ContextCapture
"%CC_Desktop%\bin\CCEngine.exe"
Hi Felix
Hope you're keeping well. Where should I place this file? Any naming conventions?
Regards
Hello Oswaldo,
The file does not to be placed in any specific location. There is no special naming convention to be followed.
Thank you Felix. I guess I just need to restart the PC. Temp files are still being generated in C:\ instead of the external hard drive. Hopefully this isn't an issue.
Cheers
