Hi all,
something does not work here.
I produced an orthophoto Geotiff with CC Master, it has 93 tiles. I need to merge it into one Geotiff file.
So I used CC Editor to attach rasters, and up to this step everything is ok.
I then used "merge" tool to merge the tiles, with settings "process rasters only", resolution using "existing raster", output single file in Geotiff format.
This is where I get the following error: "Operation failed: C:\_path_to_file\Ortho_Raster.tif"
What's wrong? Is there any other method to make a single Geotiff file with original resolution and SRS?
Thanks.
Maybe Geotiff can only handle the image with a size which is below 2GB.
Try to export in JPEG
Thanks Steve, but how can I keep the geographic informations?
Do you mean the coordinates and image size of the orthoimage?
Yes, Geotiff contains geographic data, as fas as I know the jpeg file cannot include XYZ data in coordinates.
You can record one of the corners of the image before you merge it.
After merging the image you can right-click it and go to Properties>Details. The height and width of the image should be pixels number multiply the resolution.
