I am using Context Capture to combine about 900 photos taken from a
drone and georeferenced, with about 700 photos taken from the ground,
not georeferenced. I have about 600 tie points that link most of the
photos together but I am trying to link the rest in by adding more tie
points.
After about 8 hours the AT fails in its last task (task 49 after
completing task 147) with an error -1073741819, which I believe
translates to an Access Violation Error. This implies it is a
programming error rather than something I have done.
I have had such errors in the past (including also error -1073740791)
and have managed to get round them by adding in more tie points, which
presumably means the program does different things that hopefully do not
cause a failure, but it is a very tedious process.
Is there any way I can be told what I have to do to get rid of this
error rather than making changes blindly?
I've atached the log file zip.

Hi Chris,
Please double check your control point assignment. The problem that you are having is that there are insufficient control points to complete the process.
Hi Felix
Thank you for your prompt response. I don't believe this is the case.
I have three control points well distributed around my site. When I set
up a model using only my drone photos it ties these in well to the three
Control Points. The system blows up sometimes when I add extra photos
to give me more detail in a small area (~10%) of the site, while
retaining all the drone photos. So the model should still have its
three good control points to work from.
I could, and will, try redefining some of my tie points as fixed control
points. I do know their coordinates reasonably accurately so I will see
what happens. But this is telling the model that these points have an
accuracy that I can't really justify.

Hi Chris
Can you check your AT settings?
Felix
It is complex. Can you contact me offline (cjb@eng.cam.ac.uk)
