Hello,
Can I change the behavior of selecting a handle of a linestring in a cross-sectionview.
I use Descartes to draw edge of pavement lines and roadmarkinglines.. I use the drapelines(snaplines) function to add elevations to te points.
I need to check the level of the points on the edge of the road. It has to be the level of the top surface but some points are a bit to far to the gutter and get the wrong elevation.
In Descartes (pointtools) you can create cross-sectionviews along a linestring an with 'set step by path vertices', you can get a cross-section exactly at every point.
Walking forward/backward in the line is easily (I made shortcut keys for it)
Now, if i have a point that needs to be changed I want to drag it to the correct level in the cross-sectionview.
When I select the handle of the linestring in the cross-sectionview it will also select handles that, have the same 'pixel'position but on an another depth. So it selects more handles in the top view and when i drag the handle in the cross-sectionview all the selected handles will move together.
I think this is a standard microstation behavior.
Is there a way to solve this problem so that I can drag only that one handle at the cross-section in the cross-sectionview? ( I know I can select the handle in the top view but I want to work only in the cross-sectionview en close the topview)
With kind regard,
Have you tried posting this to the Descartes forum in case it's NOT standard MicroStation behavior?
