Aero triangulation

Hi,

Just a quick question and apologies if I have missed this in the forum. Is Context Capture Master able to perform the aero triangulation stage using both portrait and landscape orientated images in the same dataset? When running a job it wants to ignore the small number of portrait images I might include? I am capturing a chuirch and hence the spire is much better captured using the portrait format. Is it possible to mix the two formats in one dataset?

Thanks,

Jim

  • Yes it is possible but most likely portrait images are discarded because it can't  calibrate them properly on spire because of lack of automatic tie points.

I would recommend to reuse calibration from different project with portrait images and also use "thin structure" aerotriangualtion option. If this doesn't help you will need to do both as separate blocks and then merge them together using tie points.
