Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding control points and how many photos to assign control too.I know the minimum is 3 photos for 3 different control points.
I am processing photogrammetry for utility excavations and need the photogrammetry to be as accurate as possible. If I have 500 to 800 photos for a piece of photogrammetry accompanied by 12 to 15 surveyed control points, how many of these control points should I use and how many photos should I assign control too?Is it best to use all the control points assigning control to 10 to 12 photos for each control point?Or is it better to assign less or more control to the photos for the different surveyed control points? Is there a best practice for achieving the best quality and most accurate results?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul
