Hi all,
I'm in need of some assistance. I have created web ready project scenes; placed them in Microsoft Azure cloud storage and now I am kind of stock in what to do next to be able to obtain a link to publish on our web page. Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Jonathan Miranda
So, after posting my question, I realized I could copy the url from the index.html and this opened up the scene in Chrome for one of my models really quick; however, I tried another model I have in the cloud and didn't opened and showed me this message;
I am using Google Chrome...any Ideas as to what is happening here?
Also is there a quick tutorial on how to add the measuring units and coordinate system into the config.json file?
Similar question was asked here - https://communities.bentley.com/products/3d_imaging_and_point_cloud_software/f/contextcapture-descartes-pointools-forum/214244/publish-with-contextcapture-web-viewer-using-azure-blob/651274#651274
Open up dev tools and check network requests why the scene doesn't open.
In your case it can't find "Production_9.3mx"
Thank you Oto; that fixed the problem; I was trying to rename the scene after the fact by renaming the 3mx (not knowing that it will mess up the links).
Now, is there a tutorial you know of on how to change the units into the config.json? I am no coder and know very little about how files can be edited (It could be very simple, but not having an example is kind of trial an error on my end)
This is how the config.json looks;
Question is; how to add the units and whatnot...is there a already configured .json file I can take a peek at to see what changes I need to make? Also I have added our company logo and it seems to look too big compared to the Bentley logo....is there a way to scale the logo by typing some parameters somewhere?
If the model is georeferenced there should be a units available when measuring. For local coordinates in latest versions it is now also possible to specify units but not sure if it later work show on app.
