Cut Long Section Along Path

Question

Hello, 
 I would like to cut a long section through a reality model along a curved path, so that I can produce a vertical orthophoto. I am aware that it is possible to use the section tool and the "vertical along path" option to cut cross sections along a path, but is it possible to cut a section *along* the path, rather than across it?

You can use the connect release products that include the "workflow" > "Reality Modeling" (i.e ContextCapture Editor, ORD, Descartes ect) 
 then select the deliver tab > Merge command from the ribbon.. this will allow for vertical or angle orthomosiacs such as building face, or face of dam ect, but it will NOT cut a section along a path 
 
 you could try to mask the reality model and rotate the view the use the mask command, but not sure it would give the results you are looking for
