Hi all
As we all know, CC prefers the image capture sequence to be orbital when using drones.
In some situations, its not possible to capture in orbits, so a columns capture sequence would be the only option.
Is there a script out there that can take teh images and re-sort them and output a position file so that CC reads the sequence in orbits from a columns capture?
For example, in a 10 image column where image 1 is lowest start point, the natural lateral neighbour would be image 21. However CC would look for image 2, which in this example is the above image. Therefore the AT would fail.
Any solutions highly appreciated!
Thanks!
Mostly it fails when the object has repeating pattern so exhaustive will not help but sequence setting can help and some time is only option which works. But sequence as you already know requires images to be correctly ordered.
So it doesn’t work if the capture sequence is in columns and not orbits?
Why not? It works but it depends on input data. Just if images are not in sequence or loop you lose last hope to use these options. Does your images have GPS tags?
Some images are geotagged some are not (due to obstructions)
