Hi everyone,As I am quite new into Bentley, could you please help here?I did the 3D mapping of the old church using P4ProV2 and did processing in ContextCapture. Two sides of the church got reconstructed quite good While the other two have gaps blurry surfaces holes etcThe images were taken from approximately same distance from the object using Pix4D Capture Free flight mission module the distance between the images is ~1m.Any idea how to troubleshoot/avoid such issues in the future? What could be the culprit here? The overlaps are in my opinion quite good as well there are no missing images that could lead to failure in reconstruction. What might be the problem here is the fact both sides which failed were exposed to direct sunlight while the other sides which are okay were in shadow, but not sure whether that fact plays such a role.As well I see in 3D view some of the images are green (reconstruction went fine) and some are orange (the results are bad). What that means, any idea? Thanks everyone in advance for your help.Best,Zoran
Also fly around so it is not only closeup photos.
And take more photos around corners, you have no photos there. Read acquisition guide.
Hi Oto,Unfortunately using the legacy settings did not help. Most likely I will do mapping once again and take care of the illumination and exposure. Thanks anyway!
Try to use preset "legacy engine". Use load button and find it here C:\Program Files\Bentley\ContextCapture\data\Presets\AT\
Hi Oto,I am running CC update 19 - v10.19.0.122 version I believe that is the latest one. What exactly do you mean by legacy engine AT settings? What I tried in the meantime is to change the exposure of the images using Photoshop which CC failed to use for reconstruction. ExampleHowever, the outcome is the same, AT didn't manage to use half of the images for the reconstruction.Any idea what can be done here except go in the field and do once again mapping with different illumination settings?Best,Zoran
More looks like you have model inside model. It has not aligned all photos properly. Try to run with legacy engine aerotriangulation setting. What version of CC you are using?
