Hello, Hope you are having an amazing day. I have a very important project. The problem is I installed contextcapture center on my windows 10 machine. it opened successfully. However, when I try open ccengine.exe it gives an unable to start application error!! I tried everything to solve it. I installed contextcapture again, tried different versions of it, tried updating my GPU drivers and downgrading them, I even tried it on different windows versions and on windows 11!! I am literally lost, I need to finish the project and this happens!! If someone can help me literally right now it would be so much appreciated!!
We suggest you to create a service request and we will contact you.
Bruneau can you suggest a solution please, the project deadline is soon!!!
I even tried the driver you mentioned now and didn't work either!!! What is happening?!
Don't use Vulkan API if you have single GPU

Maybe try to delete driver and then reinstall. As it says older than 471.00 version will disable AI so you have not correctly installed older driver.
I know you did reinstall CC but we ask you to do a clean installation.
Which means to uninstall it and make sure that the ContextCapture folder in C:\Program Files\Bentley is correctly removed by the uninstall. If not you need to remove it manually.
Then launch a new install with "admin mode". Right on installer and choose "Run as administrator".
When all that is done, start CC and Engine in admin mode too. Right click on CC/CC engine icon and choose "Run as administrator".
Let us know if this helps.
For further assistance, fill a service request.
Can you install CC on a different machine?
Tried what you and Bruneau said. I absolutely clean installed context capture and GPU driver. same error!!! the first image I posted mentioned something related to TensorFlow dll. I am literally tied up and I cant continue my work!!
I don't have another machine!
I have only 1 a machine available. What should I do now?!
Hi Ben,
If you only have 1 PC, why did you install ContextCapture Center instead of ContextCapture?
What are the different editions of ContextCapture?
The Center version is specifically designed to allow computations to be parallelized on a cluster of 3D reconstruction engines. This means multiple GPUs, PCs, servers, etc...
If you have only one PC with a single GPU you should probably be using ContextCapture rather than ContextCapture Center.
Regards,Ron
Both CC Center and CC Desktop are identical. Only difference that CC Desktop doesn't allow multiple engines.
Reason to use Center edition would be to avoid artificial limitations.
This table is little bit confusing how Desktop edition can be used on ≤ 2 computers?
