Hello, Hope you are having an amazing day. I have a very important project. The problem is I installed contextcapture center on my windows 10 machine. it opened successfully. However, when I try open ccengine.exe it gives an unable to start application error!! I tried everything to solve it. I installed contextcapture again, tried different versions of it, tried updating my GPU drivers and downgrading them, I even tried it on different windows versions and on windows 11!! I am literally lost, I need to finish the project and this happens!! If someone can help me literally right now it would be so much appreciated!!
Hi Ben,
If you only have 1 PC, why did you install ContextCapture Center instead of ContextCapture?
What are the different editions of ContextCapture?
The Center version is specifically designed to allow computations to be parallelized on a cluster of 3D reconstruction engines. This means multiple GPUs, PCs, servers, etc...
If you have only one PC with a single GPU you should probably be using ContextCapture rather than ContextCapture Center.
Regards,Ron
This is a known issue and a defect was filed for this. The problem we have is that none of us internally can reproduce it and this makes it difficult to troubleshoot it unfortunately. Note that this might be resolved on next CC release. For the time being, the usage of CC U17 is the workaround. We apologize for this situation.
Thank Bruneau and Oto. U17 worked. But why I can't use the latest version?!
Yes, try CCU17 version, this might solve your issue for now. Update us when you can.

Yes, try to downgrade. For older versions this GPU and driver was still supported for AI jobs.
