I am trying to export a reality capture scan (POD) from Context Capture into Synchro Control to appear alongside a Synchro PRO model as an RGB point cloud with the date of the scan also appearing within Control active timeline (under Schedule)
Method 1/ The Scan seems to transfer to Control if I reconstruct in Context Capture as a mesh? (as opposed to an RGB Point cloud) and the dates do not react with the schedule timeline within Synchro Control.
Method 2/ In MicroStation Connect I can attach a POD and federate this into the Synchro Control iModel, this then appears as an RGB point cloud but is bound into the iModel so I cant use the "Compare" Splitter for comparing the Synchro model to Reality Data
If anyone has an updated workflow to make this work ide very much appreciate advice regards Andy
Hi Colin managed to make a OPC file from the LAS via Context Capture but failing to know how to upload an OPC to Synchro Control via connection made in iTwin synchronizer
Hi Andy, Use the Orbit Import and Upload tool to push it to your ProjectWise context share that's connected to you project - once there you will be able to view reality data in the Synchro Itwin
