This is an descartes question: Can you create profile along an line (XML alignment) (cross section) at one or several alignment section length?

Hi 
 In descartes (for Microstation)you can create sections, but what I need is to create these sections regarding the alignment line. I want to see the cross section at the alignment length X meters along the alignment line. 
 
 Is this possible in descartes, if no. Why isn&acute;t it

I believe under the "more" options, it gives you the ability to "move" the post.
