Is there an another free POD converter (from Bentley) that replaces PODcreator functions to convert LIDAR/Laser point formats?

Unfortunately not, it is bad decision by Bentley. PODcreator was with unique features. Try to find an install.

Unfortunately not, i Agree not a good decision by Bentley! POD is not an standard format, other software's do not even support this type of file, so how is someone who gets an POD file delivery without Bentley`s software handle this file?
If Bentley is using "only Bentley format" they should at least have an free converter to change it to something "standard" for free!
Hmm, it is the same thing with iTiff what is great raster format within Bentley, outside bentley there is no support for iTiff, there is an workaround to get the iTiff working for rest of the software world.. change iTiff extension to .Tiff, then they can read the raster file as an tiff file without the intelligence of (i)tiff.
It is not meant to be used outside Bentley world and it is ok. But having a converter was good way how to promote Bentley software.
POD format unfortunately is limited and should be updated. For example does not support scanner locations and trajectories.
I know, you can import raw scanning data with a lot of information but that information is lost when you gone through Descartes and POD.
