Hi everyone,I did drone mapping of a small church and produce 3mx in CC. I opened the mesh in CC Editor and using the Merge function tried to produce the Ortho facade. The TIFF was produced but the resolution and the quality of the image are quite bad compared to the 3mx. Is there a way how to generate an ortho facade of the same quality as is possible in Pix4D? I tried different settings but the outcome is the same.Forwarding the screenshots for comparison (3mx vs geoTIFF).

If possible should have captured the object when sky is overcast to avoid nasty shadows.
3mx is not best for generating raster with merge as there is known issue that Microstation platform products do not correctly display 3mx in some zoom levels.I would suggest convert 3mx to 3sm and then do merge. Also you can increase resolution in merge options and under 3mx/3sm element properties(export resolution).
Thx Oto for the suggestions, will try with 3smI agree on the model with shadows all around looks not so good and it should be avoided.I thought all the time 3mx is way better in terms of quality compared to 3sm, but it seems I was wrong. Will try your inputs and let you know how it went.
Oto did Bentley have a better software rather than editor to crerate orthos from 3sm models created in CC?
Editor is now discontinued you have to look at Descartes. Actually same functionality and same issues.
Not sure about iTwins Manage&Extract if it allows to "extract" orthophotos.
Can you explain me diferences Descrates and editor I can not find anywhere any youtube video or comparison of them.
Editor is based on Powerdraft but Descartes on Microstation. So Editor is the same as Descartes except it lacks Materials and some 3D tools. Both lack Survey module so still need OpenSite to get job done but OpenSite lacks tools with Reality mesh so the whole suite is not competitive especially that Editor is discountinued.
