First let me say that my primary use of the STM is to import a terrain model and Extract microstation contours from it for use on printed plans that are sent to our Department of Environmental Services.
In the STM - How are the properties of the contours defined? Is there an element template to control the default levels and settings? can they be defined somewhere so they don't have to be changed by everyone of my users? can the changes made to the STM be saved so when i reattach it, they don't all have to be reset?
These things don't seem to be covered anywhere in the documentation and i cannot find any default properties off any of the tools.
