Descartes - Copying / Moving Raster Outside of Boundary

Hi All,

Having a small issue with Descartes.

We have updated from using IRASB to Descartes along with our Client.

Alot of our design work involves CIT files, and copying parts of the CIT into various places to speed up the process - at the request of our client.

What im finding with Descartes though is that i cant copy anything outside of the Boundary of the CIT (i have attached an Image to show this).

We could do this easily with IRAS, but cant find a way with Descartes.

Any ideas?

We are using Descartes SS2

Cheers

Rob

  • Hi Rob,

To accomplish this workflow with Descartes, first, you will need to use the "Resize Canvas" tool to move the raster's boundaries. This tool is available in the "Edit" menu of Raster Manager and the "Descartes Raster  Control" toolbar.

Then, you can use the "Local Transform" tools to copy parts of the raster.
