I am trying to stamp a patterned line onto a raster plate using the Stamp Vector tool. The pattern was generated by applying a Linear Pattern using a cell pattern from one of my Cell Libraries. The View Settings have the Fill and Line Weights enabled and the Level Overrides turned off. When I go to stamp, I select the black plate (the desired color I want the pattern), and click the Stamp Vector tool. However, when I hover over the vector, a circle slash (∅) appears and nothing happens. I've checked the Message Center, and the only level name appears in the message. When I go to the element properties, the symbol is in the Pattern Component class. I've tried dropping the element, but it says there is nothing to drop. Others in my team are not having this issue, so I know it is a setting, but I cannot tell what is different about my settings and what changed to not permit me to stamp cell patterns (I used to be able to). Can someone please help?
Thanks,
Hi Christie,
Could you provide us with some dataset (i.e. : the .DGN containing the pattern you are trying to stamp should be enough)?
Mathieu
Mathieu,
Attached is the DGN with the associated rasters. I've also placed the cell library linepa.cel in the ZIP file. The line pattern in question in LOWAT, which is the dotted danger curve. The DGN should be zoomed into a Fish Haven in which the dots will not stamp. I've been getting around this issue by copying a self drawn circle, while I have been awaiting a solution, but I have a lot of fish havens to stamp, so I'd rather not do it that way for very long.

I wound up taking a new seed DGN, copying all the vector and reloading the raster. The dots stamp now. Apparently, there was something corrupt in the existing DGN. I would still like to know what was causing the problem in the old DGN.
