Importing Camera Path into Blender

Hi,

We have a client how gave us a camera path txt file from Pointools and we are currently developing a plugin to import the information into Blender for further processing.
We have some question about some values in the header of the file. Here is the header we have from the file:

cRio PointoolsCamera 30 640 480 1.33333337 1.00000000 1.41732000 1.06298997 1.00000000 z xyz

Which correspond to what is mentioned in this post:
http://communities.bentley.com/products/3d_imaging_and_point_cloud_software/w/wiki/import-and-export-a-camera-path.aspx

All make sense except the fields bellow:

1. Filmback width and height -> to our understanding this correspond to the sensor size (we assume in millimeters). This is extremely small ! can you elaborate on this.
2. The focal length of the camera is 23.3826... mm (we assumed) and we have hFOV at 80.00º and vFOV at 60.00º (also assumed to be degrees and not radians).

So all proportions are equal:
filmback_width / filmback_height
render_width / render_height
hFOV / vFOV

it's just when we applied the sensor size and the FOV values to blender's camera... the result are not good and the camera is all deform !!! see attach picture. When we don't apply the FOV value, the results are better but do not 'fit' pointools animation!!

Any advices on how to solve this discrepancy would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards.
Antoine
