&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;If you wan to clip tiff files and open it by itself.i &amp;#39;d like to suggest you to add a&lt;span style="color:#333333;"&gt; &lt;a href="http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/csharp-imaging/tiff-processing/"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#333333;"&gt;tiff processing add-on&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;That would make your work easier.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I understand that you opened the Tiff file directly in MicroStation. This functionality is only aimed to visualize raster attachments and doesn&amp;#39;t allow any manipulation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you want to clip the raster file, it needs to be attached to a DGN file. Then, using Raster Manager&amp;#39;s &amp;quot;Clip&amp;quot; tool you will be able to clip the raster file. Note that clips are not permanent.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you want to clip the raster file permanently, you will need to use the &amp;quot;Crop&amp;quot; tool of Bentley Descartes.&lt;/p&gt;
