There are very old post of users complaining about the fact that PodCreator does not import the intensities from cloud text files that contains them.
Since all this time I can't believe that this issue (among others as well) is still not solved.
I am very very disapointed by the situation now that Pointools is part of Bentley.. Price has been multplied and the bugs are always still present..
Please, solving the bugs IS A PRIORITY !

I just tried it with the latest POD Creator version (2.00.01.2 )that is on SELECT server and on bentley iware page (www.bentley.com/.../bentley%20iware.htm) and it works fine for me.
We updated POD Creator earlier in 2013, we addressed several bugs and updated some partner libraries.

Well of course the way of writing in my post was caused by the long-time frustration to see issues and bug that remains unsolved since years.. And before writing that in that way I checked with the latest build I downloaded the same day (4 feb. 2014) and the build has the number 02.00.01.02, Build 2.0130618.
I just made the test again, and I confirm that there is an issue with intensity reading, compared to the way Pointools succeed to import them. Did I missed something ?
Here are the screenshots showing the process .
As you can see, at left displays the cloud with intensities imported by Pointools, at right the same cloud through PODCREATOR.
I spent again time to document the problem, as many times in the past for other issues, and they are still unsolved. I become a bit lazy now.. Hope you can understand that.
If you want me to upload the XYZ ascii file, please explain how I may upload the file, I can't find the option.

seems we have 2 issues here:
1) an import issue we are not able to reproduce
2) other issues that you are referring at that seems to not be tracked properly.
Please provide me with the dasaset (benoit.fredericque@bentley.com), I will check it and follow-up with you personnaly on the 2 aspects.
