it will be very usefull if this tools could work also with RGB value not only with intensity value. Working with contextcapture and photogrammetry you don't have the intensity value but RGB value.
Hi Enrico,
If you know a bit of programming or know someone that can do programming I guess you could export the points to an XYZ file and convert the RGB value to intensity similar to a RGB to grayscale conversion.
Then just reimport the XYZ file in Bentley Descartes.
The problem with that is that two different bright color will likely have similar intensity value.

Mathieu
Ok thanks, I didn't see it.
I just add one more things, I don't know if is really possible and if easier or not, but not to change the 3d following tools, could be enough if CC creating point clooud (POD or LAS) from photogrammetry associate an intensity value to the RGB value(it could be a shortcut).
Thanks for your suggestion.
Someone else did the same suggestion 5 months ago (https://communities.bentley.com/products/3d_imaging_and_point_cloud_software/f/contextcapture-descartes-pointools-forum/146758/3d-line-following-tool-improvement-sugestion/446292#446292).
We haven't started looking at it but we might start soon.
Thanks,
