How do I copy or cut data in one raster image and place the data that has been cut or copied into a different raster image

Solution

In Descartes data that is in one raster image can be copied or cut in one raster image and then place into a different raster image.

1.)  In Raster Manager select Edit

2.)  Highlight source raster image containing area to be copied or cut

3.)  Select either copy or cut command

4.)  Place a fence or block around the area to be copied or cut

·         Copy command will make a copy to data that is in the fence  or block area

·         Cut will cut the area that in the fence or block area and remove it from the raster image
