This process can be applied to any animated object within Bentley Pointools V8i
1) Use the Select Keys button in the Time-line toolbar and select all keys from frame No. 1250 onward.
If required use the Zoom Time-line option.
Click to the left of the final frame for which you want the adjustment to be made (i.e. in this case it will be 1250) and drag you mouse to the right to select all of the other keys).
All of selected the keys will turn blue.
With all of the keys turned blue click and hold your mouse button down on the key at frame 1250 and drag it to the right for the required distance. You will need to test this to achieve your desired result.
6) This will lengthen the overall time of your animation but will also have the effect of slowing down the animation between key frames 850 and 1250.
NB: if you find that the newly extended section of animation has developed unexpected camera/object movement, this is due to the CatMullRom interpolation type. To address this highlight the keyframe immediately after the area you want to fix, for each parameter (i.e. position X,Y,Z target X,Y,Z,) and change the interpolation type to either linear, or TCB spline
In the Time-line toolbar select the Zoom Extents of Parameter icon to display the time-line curve.
Select the key frame marker on the curve at the final frame of your edit selection (in this case Frame 1250) in the Graph Editor.
The Frame number, position Value and Interpolation Type dropdown list will be displayed.
Select Interpolation and set the Linear option. This will ensure that the transition remain smooth during your animation.
