Change color on part of a raster image using Bentley Descartes for MicroStation

Problem

I’m trying to make part of an image attached to my dgn file as a raster be color red and the rest remain black (its original color). Is there a fast/easy way of doing that in MicroStation Descartes?

 

Solution

You would want to use the Paint tool that is part of the Touchup tool palette in Descartes.  You can find this by bringing up Raster Manager and going to tools - touch up.  Paint is the first tool in the palette. 

 

 

You can set the method to Area and then set the Area to Block, element, shape, etc.  You can also choose the color to paint in the dialog.  It would then paint the area you choose (block, element, shape, etc…).
