Using Erase tool causes area to show background color where raster image area was erased

      Product(s): Bentley Descartes for MicroStation
      Version(s): 08.11.09.601
      Environment: N\A
      Area: Tools
      Subarea: N\A

    Problem

I have an image with black background and white foreground.  I am inverting the image and then using the Descartes erase tool.  This was leaving black squares on the image because the background color is black and the erase tool paints the erased block with the background color.

    Solution

It is recommended to use the Paint tool on the Touch-up tool box instead of the Erase tool   The paint tool instead as it will paint the foreground color.
