Problem

You are evaluating ContextCapture and have received some download instructions from Bentley

When you select the download link your default web browser open and you are taken to the Bentley website to access the software download

You select the download link on the webpage and are taken to the “Bentley Web Properties Legal Terms of Use” page.

To download the software you must select the Accept button however when you do so you are returned to the download page.

Solution

To resolve this you must disable your web browsers Pop-Up Blocker or ad the Bentley website to your web browsers Pop-up Blocker Exceptions:

Internet Explorer

In Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu and select Pop-up Blocker. You will have two options;

Turn off Pop-up Blocker

Pop-up Blocker Settings

To disable the Pop-up blocker you can select Turn off Pop-up Blocker. This can be re-enabled once your download has been completed.

To permanently allow the Bentley website go to Pop-up blocker settings and add http://appsnet.bentley.com to your Pop-up blocker Exceptions list:

Google Chrome

In Google Chrome go to Settings and at the bottom of the page select Show advanced settings…

Scroll down until you get to the Privacy section, then select Content Settings. Scroll down until you get to Pop-ups.

To disable the Pop-up Blocker select “Allow all sites to show Pop-ups”.

To permanently allow the Bentley Website select “Manage Exceptions”. In the box add http://appsnet.bentley.com and select Allow:

Firefox

In Firefox go to Options and in the column on the left select Content.

To disable the Pop-up Blocker uncheck the box next to Block pop-up windows.

To permanently allow the Bentley website select Exceptions and add http://appsnet.bentley.com in the Address box then select Allow:
