Raster image attached in Descartes not being attached in I/Rasb

      Product(s): Bentley I/RAS B
      Version(s): 08.09.04.59
      Environment: N\A
      Area: General
      Subarea: N\A

    Problem

When I attached my raster image in Descartes and then open the DGN file in I/Rasb the raster image shows being attached in Raster Manager, but does not show being attached in I/RasB.

    Solution

In Descartes check what plane the raster image is attached.  The raster plane must be set to Background Plane in order for the raster image to be attached in I/Rasb when you open your DGN file in I/Rasb.

In Raster Manager you can place your cursor over the raster image name and then drag it to the left over the first symbol on the left hand side.  It should show the plane the raster image is attached.  For example Background, Design or Foreground.

You can click on the symbol and a list will be shown.

    Change the Plane to Background.

You can also double click on the raster image name in Raster Manager and it will bring up an Element Information box.  In the Display Print section you can change the Plane to Background.

In Workspace > Preference > Raster Manager > Default Attributes click Set Default Attributes

In the Display Print section you can set Background to be the default raster image attachment setting.
