Contrast Brightness cannot be used with Monochrome raster images

      Product(s): MicroStation
      Version(s): 08.11.09.832
      Environment: N\A
      Area: Raster
      Subarea: N\A

    Problem

Contrast Brightness cannot be used with Monochrome raster images. I get the message “Raster image’s color mode is invalid.”

    Solution

Raster image is Monochrome.  Contrast Brightness cannot be used with monochrome raster images.
To use Contrast Brightness you can

    ·         highlight raster image in Raster Manager

    ·         select Save As

    ·         set File name

    ·         set Save as type raster format

    ·         select Options

    ·         set Color Mode to RGB

    ·         Save

Contrast Brightness can now be used with the RGB raster image
