Set Access Control of a Reality Data

1) Obtain permission to manage reality data that are associated to a ProjectWise Project.

2) List Reality Data that are associated to the ProjectWise Project.

3) In the list, locate the Reality Data you want to rename and select it by toggling ON the checkbox.

4) Click the information button:

5) Click the Edit button:

6) Change the value of the visibility field.

• Permission: This option is the default. A Reality Data of visibility "Permission" is required to be associated to a ProjectWise Project. Every Project Team Members who have ProjectWise ContextShare's "Create" permission in the project are allowed to consume it.
• Public: A Reality Data of visibility "Public" is not required to be associated to a ProjectWise Project. Every CONNECT users are allowed to consume it.
• Private: A Reality Data of visibility "Private" is not required to be associated to a ProjectWise Project. Only the Reality Data's owner is allowed to consume it.
• Enterprise: A Reality Data of visibility "Enterprise" is not required to be associated to a ProjectWise Project. Every CONNECT users thatare affiliated to the organization that owns the Reality Data are allowed to consume it.

7) Click the save button:

Note #1: A user who owns a Reality Data is always allowed to consume and edit it regardless of the Reality Data's visibility.

Note #2: A user who is an Administrator (i.e. has one of the following user roles: Administrator, Co-Administrator, CONNECT Services Admin) is always allowed to consume or edit all the Reality Data owned by his oprganization regardless of the Reality Data's visibility.
