    Measurements

Measurement tools are available to measure position, distance, height, area or volume from objects in 3D Reality Data. To get started, open a Reality Data in the Reality Data Web Viewer.

    Position

    1) In the Reality Data Web Viewer's upper corner, click the "Measure" icon, and select "Position".

    2) Click on an object in the model to measure the coordinates of its position.

    Distance

    1) In the Reality Data Web Viewer's upper corner, click the "Measure" icon, and select "Distance".

    2) Click points on two objects in the model and reset to measure the distance between them or click multiple points and reset to measure the path’s length.

    Height

    1) In the Reality Data Web Viewer's upper corner, click the "Measure" icon, and select "Height".

    2) Click points on two objects in the model and reset to measure the height difference between them. This tool is useful for measuring vertical clearance.

    Width

    1) In the Reality Data Web Viewer's upper corner, click the "Measure" icon, and select "Width".

    2) Click points on two objects in the model and reset to measure the width difference between them. This tool is useful for measuring horizontal distance between two objects.

    Area

    1) In the Reality Data Web Viewer's upper corner, click the "Measure" icon, and select "Area".

    2) Click points around the object in the model and click the shape's first point to close it and measure its area.

    Volume

    1) In the Reality Data Web Viewer's upper corner, click the "Measure" icon, and select "Volume".

    2) Click points around the object in the model and click the shape's first point to close it and measure its volume. This tool is useful for measuring volume of stockpiles.
