PowerSurvey

Was a past user of PowerSurvey Geopak Select Series 2, and now have PowerSurvey Select Series 3.  I have a DOT cadd standards file but not sure what directory to put it so that supposedly all is setup . I have a small point file that is brought in and no line work comes in, no cells, nothing is setup and not really sure how to set it up. The quick start guide on the help menu doesn't even work. Thanks.

  • Yes I have PowerSurvey SS3 powered by OpenRoads. I use to have PowerSurvey GeoPak SS2 from 2005-2011, and the DOT I did work with at times, used a .SMD file. I understand now that they upgraded to SS4 but still use the .SMD file, as I have OpenRoads and it supposedly does not use .SMD files but .XIN files. So I have been thinking and do know that the USCOE, uses SS4 and has an extensive .XIN file, I will be learning the new PowerSurvey SS3. I am just looking for support on how to set it all up so it will read the .XIN files. Thanks, I will keep you posted.
