List of project

This is a big topic and I would recommend that you speak with your site administrator who is responsible for looking after your MicroStation installation in the first instance as they will have local knowledge of how MicroStation is configured.

How do you know there are other projects available? Is it the case another user in the organization is seeing a list of projects and you are not ?

If its a clean install for example if you change the User: name from 'Untitled' to 'Examples' then the list of projects associated with that Examples Workspace User will become available. So in this instance the User Configuration file Examples.ucf is determining where the projects can be found.

It may be your Organization has developed a specific Workspace User: that you should be using, which could be selected manually or perhaps via the shortcut used to launch MicroStation

It might also be that your install is not pointing to the Organizations define Workspace structure.

There is some information delivered in the help see Help > About MicroStation , there is a section ' Setting Up Projects ' > ' Workspaces ' that describes these options.

If your Site Administrator is unavailable and you have a colleague who is seeing the projects and the above is of no help, then your could ask them to create a debug file ( See communities.bentley.com/.../11081.how-to-quickly-generate-a-debug-file ) and post this here for others to review.

I read some info about workspace, but everyone think this happen by magic :-). not really aware of what happen behind the scene or can explain me OR people try to protect some info...any way

I was expecting a go to an existing computer, open something like option » and search for xyz that would tell me where to point other stations.
