Microstation CONNECT customize ribbon workflow

Question

Is there a way to setup a workflow that will invoke a command, set a configuration variable or other action when the workflow is selected from the drop down list by the user? 
 For example. 
 DGN has 2 models (Test1 and Test2) 
 Workflow drop down has 2 workflows (Test1 and Test2) 
 When user selects Test1 the Test1 model becomes active model and if Test2 is chosen then Test2 model is active model

There are several different ways, you can invoke a keyin, VBA or an mdl. the easiest would be by keyin the syntax would be "model active Test1" You would put this information in the keyin field, but it will need to be a new button.
