Thanks for the reply. I can open the same file using the offline configuration with it taking 5 seconds.
I did upgrade to update 1, and set the MS_FAST_LEGACY_WIREFRAME variable, still seeing open times taking 90+ seconds. I'm thinking that I am going to submit a formal ticket on this.
Our environment isn't exactly set up like the delivered configuration, I am spreading out the configuration across two separate folders, one that has corporate workspace, standards and resources and another site specific folder for the sites specific worksets.

If you open the same file in both offline/online is there still a time difference ? Have you tried setting MS_FAST_LEGACY_WIREFRAME see this thread communities.bentley.com/.../115741

Could it be related to thumb nails see this thread communities.bentley.com/.../367807

Also just noticed your running 10.00.00.25 any reason why not upgrading to Update 1 (10.01.00.13)? that said you might want to hold off for Update 2 which will be released soon.
