Thanks Carl, the models are the correct case within the file. My error in the description.

I did get it to work however by creating a new tab and transferring all my sub groups and associated buttons to that new tab and deleting the original tab.

I was able to get this to work with MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 1 which version are you using ?

You mention it works for one but not the other, is it the model "Aplan" that is failing ?
If so could you check the model names case. Your Named Expression is testing for the name in lowercase "aplan", elsewhere you refer to this as uppercase "A" ( Aplan ) if the models name is "Aplan" it will not work but should for "aplan".
