Workspaces on different drives on a network

Hi Tim,

I meant a Project within a Workspace located on another drive on a network.

I think my confusion came from the Open File dialog where you can choose from User, Project and Interface. I want to be able to choose between projects within different Workspaces on different drives within a network.

I hope this makes sense.

you mentioned projects, yet you are changing the workspace variable - why is this ?

I can get it to work making the following addition to the msdir.cfg (C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\MicroStation\config):

[General]
_USTN_INSTALLED_WORKSPACEROOT=Z:\Personal\BSR\Workspace/
#_USTN_INSTALLED_WORKSPACEROOT=M:\ADMIN\WorkSpace/
#_USTN_INSTALLED_WORKSPACEROOT=C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\\WorkSpace/
MSDIR_INSTALLED=${_ROOTDIR}
MS_PRODUCTCODEGUID={B234DC00-1003-47E7-8111-230AA9E6BF10}

But i wish to be able to see both worspaces on the open dialog.

Is it simply a matter of using a different symbol than the '#' key?

Any ideas much appreciated.
