Is there an effective way to define in the PCF which seed files are the "project approved seeds", and then prevent a user from using any other?
I have used the MS_DESIGNSEED, MS_DRAWINGSEED & MS_SHEETSEED variables to set these in the PCF, but individual users' UPF's keep seemingly over-ruling the selections made in the PCF. Our user's work across multiple projects, and because their UPF "remembers" the last seed file they used on File>New, it is too easy for seeds from another project to be used accidentally.
If I can help it, I'd rather not go down the route of MS_USERPREFSEED and having prefs reloaded each time AECOsim opens. Not only would that mean I'd have to create a company standard preference set (some users like to set prefs to their own prefs), I still don't think it'd fully solve the issue during a particular session, where the programme isn't closed.
Surely there must be better way of preventing "cross-pollination" of seed files over multiple projects?
