Connect config explorer works alot better with the network than v8 versions, however it will not pick up or display my standards cfg files
the configurationSetup.cfg is read and _USTN_CONFIGURATION set correctly, the workspace.cfg is read but it then skips the standards and goes straight to the workset..

When you open CE do you see the site level variables being loaded.
Thus. It's CF that's the issue.
I have had issues with the CE build where C.F. says it's all Ok but MS doesn't load them

This is only in Configuration explorer Ian. All files/variables are picked up in microstation.
It is strange that it picks up everything apart from the site level
There should be a WorkSpaceSetup.cfg read after the ConfigurationSetup.cfg. They should both be located under the Configuration Folder.
Do you have a standards.cfg for your specific WorkSpace? If so you will have to add to that Workspaces cfg a line to locate and read that standards.cfg.
Please use the following as a reference:
The standards.cfg you see above defines the Organization standards not a WorkSpaces standards.
Above the Examples.cfg sets up the standards for my "Example" WorkSpace.
The workspacesetup.cfg exists in the folder but there are no active variables.
As I said, the configuration is working and the correct workspace and organization level standards are applied when opened in microstation. The issue is with it not being picked up in configuration explorer.
I have just tested at home on a local configuration and the correct files are pickled up. the only difference with this configuration to the office is that the custom configuration is placed on a local drive rather than a network. The strange thing though is that the workspace and workset are read correctly after where the standards should be.
clips below show the differences(the network one was from aecosim hence the additional cfg's before configurationsetup)

Hi Duncan, is a UNC path involved in the office config?
