I recently was able to deploy an image for Connect Update 7. My image uses NoWorkSpace and NoWorkSet. I recently ran into an issue with selecting one of the Example dgn files on the Start Page. At that point the open file page included an additional workspace "MetroStation" and messed up all my configurations for NoWorkSpace. I was in a hurry so, ended up re-installing my deployment image.
How could I remove the "MetroStation" workspace and get my original NoWorkspace to be the only one on the dgn files open page?
this does not make sense. Why are you changing/configuring "NoWorkspace" ? this was not intended to be changed/configured.

Browse to a new file, go to open screen, right click on MetroStation and select remove from list. The example dgn files have worksets as part of the file, so remove all the examples if you don't want this to happen again.
Much simpler to just define a workspace and a workset, if not you may have other annoyances.

I agree with Bob with a workspace and workset - especially if you are already attempting to set up some configurations. NoWorkSpace/NoWorkSet was not intended to have customization with it.
Hi Tim ... I work for an owner operator that utilizes multiple discipline designs. What does not make sense to me is how to utilize Connect Workspaces for a team of designers to setup 200 different worksets or projects in Connect. If we were a Architectural consultant that had multiple clients then yes I would set up for each client separately in Connect. Maybe, I'm missing something but it was the most direct way to utilize Connect in our environment.

Is this because you don't think that it is practical to setup the initial 200 workspace/projects or you don't see how they align to the way you all work?
