Hi
Is there a way to save the state of the details dialog in matter of which columns are shown/hidden?
If I hide a few columns, close the dialog and then reopen it all the columns are shown again.
Regards,
Robert
Hi Robert,
Not as far as I can see. This is an interesting one, I'd had a similar thought. The challenge may be that the available columns vary so widely by according to the type of object being examined.
I'll ask the question internally and see what people think about this.

Just for the same kind of object would help much. I would for instans like to edit item types attach to models. So when a model is activated I would like a saved state of the details dialog with at least the item types first, but preferably only the item types. Now I have to swipe left past a lot of properties I don't really care about.
Robert,
I don't think this is possible with any of the versions to date. It should be possible and be able to be saved and applied per thing type. It already exists with the Properties dialog. If you look at Properties of a line you can hide any of them then when a new line is selected it remembers what property is hidden and it doesn't show. I would think that Details could either use the same set of properties or have its own stored set of properties per thing.

yep
Not sure if you mean it should work? Cause as you say it works with the properties dialog. But it don't work that way with the deatils dialog, so if it were to work as the propertoes dialog I would be pleased.
No I am saying it doesn't work but it could as they already do it with the Properties dialog.
