Multiple users are able to open the same .dgn at the same time without MicroStation recognising it as being already open - the file is NOT being flagged as read-only. Files are stored on a QNAP NAS. Any ideas?
Hey everybody, we have the same issue with our QNAP NAS. It has definitly started with the last Firmwareupdate from QNAP. I was able to reconstruct this with a spare NAS. We have also contacted the QNAP support and we are still waiting for a Response. The support had forwarded the issue to the Research Team.
We would like to Downgrade the Firmware, but we are a little bit afraid. If somebody gone this way without any Problems, please let us know.

QNAP have released a new firmware for our NAS boxes. I am intending to upgrade to this version this weekend. I will post my results here...

a few minutes ago, I have received a feedback from QNAP.
The development team says, that our issue should be solved with firmware version 20190311-4.3.6.0878, which will be released within the next weeks.
The actuall "new" update is Version 4.3.6.0875. So we still have to wait a little bit.

since last week a new Firmware built is available. It is the version 4.3.6.0883.
The Development team told me that this version should fixed our issue, but it doesn't!
I have installed it last week and it is still possible, that different user can open a dgn file in parallel.
I have gave this issue back to the QNAP support, and they have forwarded it back to the development team.
And again they promised that it will fixed with the next update.....
So we still have to wait.... :-(
