Has anyone gotten the DGNws to be created in a location other than WorkSetsRoot by default? We are trying to define _USTN_WORKSETDGNWS to $(_USTN_WORKSETROOT)$(_USTN_WORKSETNAME).DGNWS. It will not create the DGNws file in this location until after the workset is created and the intital DGNws file which is create in $(_USTN_WORKSETsROOT) is deleted and the application relaunched. We have tried to define the _USTN_WORKSETDGNWS variable at the Organization, WorkSpace, and WorkSet levels without any success. Just wondering if anyone has had any success in getting this to work successfully. We would ike to define this in the WorkSet.Template file.
Thanks.
Hi John,
I've filed Defect 1005622 which relates to this, can't confirm exactly what is happening but a DGNWS location included in the .template files has no effect.
Marc
Thanks Marc. It seems that the variable only has effect on creating the DGNws if the DGNws doesn't exist after the initial WorkSet creation. It would be nice if the GUI had the option to decide where the DGNws was located and that location was based on a variable in the .template file or Template WorkSets cfg.
~HTH
John.
yep
I've isolated and reproduced this exact behaviour now. I hope we can fix this soon, can't make any promises obviously.
Is the defect above sufficient for this problem or is it a different number?
