Does anyone know how to open an external document from within MicroStation J? The similar process for versions V8 and newer was to simply key-in a % before the fullpath. This does not work in J. I just need the option to open a PDF for viewing. Any help is appreciated.

I can't recall if that WAS possible in MicroStation J. Can you find anything in the Help file?

Not to de-rail your question, but can't you just double-click the PDF file from the file explorer?
Sorry I should have added a few more details but we would like to add an help/instruction document to some tools we have built so a custom icon that launches the PDF would be the most efficient when using the tools.
My coworker figured out a solution. He uses ntbang.ma to use the CALL command in CMD.
