These worksets are for the customers differnt crafts. We are using mainly one particular craft.
When I am Picking this customers Workspace I Always get the first workset alphabetically.

RE: open a particular Workset

Gerd,

While we don't maintain a shared recently used list for each WorkSpace, each user should build up a list of recent WorkSets on the Backstage:

This cannot be pre-populated (as far as I know), but once a user has selected and used a WorkSet it should be listed here. Does that meet the need in part at least?

RE: open a particular Workset

I went back and reread this. Sorry I missed that you just want to set a default WorkSet for the WorkSpace. It really has nothing to do with the User as you want all users to start with the same default craft (WorkSet).

IMHO this is a bug, what you did should work. In V8i you could define a User to select a specific Project by setting _USTN_PROJECTNAME in the User CFG file. In CONNECT User is essentially WorkSpace and Project is WorkSet. So you should be able to set a WorkSpace to have a default WorkSet by defining _ustn_worksetname in the Workspace CFG file.

I would contact Support and ask them to file a defect on this issue. But again thats IMHOWDNM

RE: open a particular Workset

It would be nice to do this on the fly.

RE: open a particular Workset

The last used combination of WorkSpace and WorkSet should be used when microstatin is opened if this is not happening you may want to check the rights on the prefs folder.
_ustn_worksetname = >CRAFT<
This is read at startup from the personal.cfg to determine the initial workspace/workset combination.

You may want to try to bulk associate using the batch process these files similar to the following article:
